A physiotherapist is a licensed and regulated health professional with the College of Physiothetapists of Ontario. A physiotherapist’s role is to help you restore and maintain function to improve your quality of life. Physiotherapists prevent, identify, diagnose and treat movement problems with a variety of techniques including manual therapy, graded exercise therapy & education.

Heidi is a licensed Physiotherapist & Owner of Active In-Home Physiotherapy. She has been passionate in helping seniors improve their health & independence for over 15 years: using a client-centered approach where the focus is on your defined goals. Heidi obtained her Master’s Degree at Queens University and has comprehensive work experience in hospitals including Acute care, Rehabilitation & Geriatric Day Hospital; Private clinics, Long term care facilities, Retirement homes, and Home care. With a combination of evidence based treatment techniques, such as manual therapy, targeted exercises, and functional movements- clients are supported in meeting their mobility goals. Having grown up in Arnprior, Heidi is grateful to have the chance to give back to this friendly community, and help our seniors stay healthy, active & independent!
